Common questions
- Do I need to install anything?
- No. Every tool runs in your browser tab. Nothing to download, nothing to install, works on any device with a modern browser.
- Is there a limit to how many PDFs I can merge?
- No — merge as many files as your device's memory can comfortably handle. There's no artificial cap.
- What happens to my file after I use a tool?
- For browser-based tools, your file never leaves your device, so there's nothing to delete. For the small number of tools that require server processing (PDF repair, PDF-to-PDF/A), uploaded files are automatically and permanently deleted shortly after processing (the exact retention window is in our Privacy Policy).
- Can I edit the text inside a PDF?
- Direct text editing inside a PDF isn't available yet. PDF to Word converts your file into an editable Word document, which is the standard way to make text-level edits before converting back.
