Split PDF — frequently asked questions
- Can I extract just one page instead of splitting the whole document?
- Yes — enter a single page number as the range and Documateo exports just that page as its own PDF.
- Does splitting affect the quality of the pages?
- No. Pages are copied out exactly as they exist in the source file — no recompression, no rasterizing.
- What happens to bookmarks and links after splitting?
- Links that point to pages outside the split range won't resolve, since that content is no longer in the output file — this is a structural limit of splitting, not specific to Documateo.
