Batch PDF Processing — frequently asked questions
- Which operations does batch processing support?
- Compress and Rotate — the two operations where one shared setting genuinely applies the same way to any number of independent files. Merge, Split, and similar tools have a different shape (many files to one output, or one file to many pages) and don't fit a simple batch model, so they're not included here.
- What happens if one file in the batch fails?
- The rest of the batch still processes normally — you'll get a clear list of which files couldn't be processed (usually because they're corrupted or password-protected) alongside the successful results.
- Is there a limit to how many files I can batch at once?
- No fixed limit — processing runs in your browser using your device's own memory, so the practical ceiling is your device, not a quota.
