How it works

  1. 1

Pick what the code should do — open a link, show text, join Wi-Fi, save a contact, start a UPI payment, or pre-fill an email, call or SMS — and fill in the details.

  2. 2

Choose the dot shape and colours, and add a logo if you like. A scanning check warns you when the contrast, quiet zone or logo size could stop it reading.

  3. 3

Check the live preview, then download a PNG (about 512, 1024 or 2048 px) or a scalable SVG.

  4. 4

Scan the result with a phone before you print or share it.

QR Code Generator — frequently asked questions

Do QR codes generated here expire or stop working?
No. These are static codes: your data is drawn into the pattern itself, with no redirect service in between, so they never expire, can't be switched off and don't track scans. The flip side is that you can't change where a printed code points — make a new one instead.
Will my logo stop the code from scanning?
It can if it's too big, so the size is capped (about 22–28% of the code's width, depending on how dense the code is) and High error correction is switched on automatically whenever a logo is added. Keep the logo simple and always scan the finished code with a phone.
Should I download PNG or SVG?
PNG is a fixed-size picture — fine for screens, documents and social posts. SVG is vector, so it stays sharp at any size; use it for print, signs and packaging. Both are drawn from the same shape data, so they look identical.
Is the Wi-Fi password (or anything else I type) stored?
No. The code is made in your browser and nothing you type is uploaded. The details are not saved even on this device — only your style choices (colours, dot shape, size) are remembered for next time.
How does the UPI code work?
It encodes a standard UPI payment link with your UPI ID and, optionally, a name, amount and note. UPI apps open it as a payment screen. It is a personal, static code — not a merchant or dynamic QR setup — so scan it yourself and send a small test payment before relying on it.
Why does it say my code might not scan?
The usual causes are low contrast between dots and background, light dots on a dark background (many scanner apps can't read that), a quiet zone smaller than the standard 4 modules, or a transparent background placed over something busy. Each warning says which one applies.
