Stamp PDF — frequently asked questions
- What's the difference between Stamp PDF and Watermark PDF?
- Watermark PDF applies one repeating text mark across every page automatically. Stamp PDF places a single image you upload — a logo, signature, or seal — at exact positions you choose, one click at a time, and can differ page to page.
- Does the stamp image need a transparent background?
- It's not required, but a transparent PNG looks cleanest — a JPG stamp will show as a solid rectangle since JPG doesn't support transparency.
- Can I stamp the same PDF multiple times with different images?
- Each pass uses one stamp image applied to all the positions you place in that session. To use a second image, apply and download the first pass, then run the result through the tool again with the new stamp.
