Bulk Resize Images — frequently asked questions
- Why width only — can't I set an exact width and height for every image?
- Images in a batch usually have different original aspect ratios — forcing all of them to one exact width AND height would stretch or squash most of them. Setting a target width and letting each image's height follow its own proportions keeps every result looking correct.
- What happens if one image in the batch fails?
- The rest of the batch still processes normally — you'll get a clear list of which files couldn't be processed alongside the successful results.
- Is there a limit to how many images I can resize at once?
- No fixed limit — processing runs in your browser using your device's own memory, so the practical ceiling is your device, not a quota Documateo imposes.
